The weeklies ran out somewhere around pasta and wine.

And we were in bed by half past nine.

So first of all, love the picture of you. You look great! Secondly, are you going to clue us in on this wonderful Italian restaurant? I mean, really, all my favorites, red wine, pesto, calamari, pasta. Looks wonderful.

We have two favorite Italian places in our neighborhood. Thought about going tonight for dinner because no way are we fighting the crowds tomorrow on Valentine’s Day, but thinking of doing a nice dinner here tomorrow instead, candle light, music, table set in front of the fire. Hmmm, we’ll see about all that.

Thanks, Reen! We went to Ristorante Panorama in Philly. It’s delicious!

Hope you had a great time!

I wish I could say I preferred flowers, since neither the chocolate nor the flowers last very long and at least the flowers don’t leave any evidence around your hips…but I have to go for the chocolate. Every time.

Oh Lord, Marisa! I LOVE the format (and content) of this post but I feel your pain, Darlin’! My husband and I will be in Philly for the long weekend (President’s Day) and we’ve got reservations at Melograno. If you’re unfamiliar with it, check it out — with caution. It’s sublime Italian and sooo not point friendly, but worth every bit of indulgence. Cheers!
