Recipe Wednesday: Mango Salsa
One of the things I love about beautiful weather and grilling season is Mango Salsa! It’s a refreshing accompaniment to grilled chicken, pork, fish, shrimp or just straight up with some baked tortilla chips.
It’s also super easy to make…
Mango Salsa
- 1 large mango, diced
- 1/ 2 red pepper, diced
- 1/4 cup red onion, diced
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, finely chopped
- 1/2 jalapeno, finely diced (optional – I leave it out for spicy haters)
- 1 tsp. olive oil
- 1 tsp. apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. coarse salt
Mix and serve!
* You can omit the olive oil and vinegar and it will still be fab! For WW, I consider this a 0 PointsPlus addition to a meal, however it does come up as 2 PP when calculated with the eTools Recipe Builder. Use your own discretion on how you would like to count it!
Grilled salmon… all dressed up …
Enjoy!
Have a great day, everyone!
Do you like your salsa hot or mild?

That salsa looks amazing! Bookmarking this page for future reference.
Perfect recipe since mangoes are on sale in my grocery store
It depends on my mood whether I like it hot or mild. But both are good.
Marisa!
The salsa looks DELISH!! Yum!!!
And – I’ll do hot or mild (although I probably take mild a bit more often).
I’m a total wimp and like it mild and yours looks absolutely DIVINE! I’ve never had mango salsa but having recently realized I like mango I definitely want to try it!
Mild for me- aren’t mangos a brilliant way to take food to the next level taste wise ? So colorful, so tasty and so packed with vitamins !!!
I am a medium girl, hot but not too hot!:)
I like my salsa smoky and HOT.
But for fruit salsas, I’ll take them either way
I love mango salsa! I prefer my salsa to be medium-just a little heat for flavor but not too much.
The simple meals of warm weather are a welcome delight!
First I see your yummy recipe, then a pointer to this, mango salsa pizza!!!

Mmmm, delish! I like salsa mild more than hot. I’m not a super huge hot person. I mean, I’m hot, but I don’t like hot stuff…well you get the idea!!
I haven’t tried my hand at Mango Salsa…I do make a mean mango slaw though! As for the question, I like mine HOT. Go figure.
YUM I love the idea of mango salsa – i’ve had it and loved it, but never made my own! Not too late I suppose! Thanks for the great recipe!
I’m making this salsa now!
This looks so good. The recipe builder point calculations really confuse me…..WHY would this be 2 points if it is made of zero point foods. (I’ve had a couple of wonky calculations on there myself. Weird!!) Have a good day Marisa!!
I get teased I shoul d be told to LEAVE TEXAS.
I do not like salsa
any kind
any temp

When it comes to salsa the spicier it is, the better! Actually that’s how it is with all savory food.
I bet this Mango Salsa is so good! I’ve never made salsa from scratch before. Thanks for the recipe, Marisa!
OMG! Yummy recipe! I love Mango…I am so making this
Thank you for sharing!
We’re on the same page this week…salmon + mango! Your salsa looks delish! I love mango with red onion, so good!
The salsa looks & sounds great! I can imagine it with so many seafood dishes! Yum.
I love really spicy salsa, but hubby can’t handle spicy foods very well, so I usually make it quite mild…
Girlfriend, I LOVE mango salsa!!! It’s one of my fave things ever!!
